About us

Nordic Patent Analyzer AB - or Medical Patent as we were formerly known to our clients - focus on advanced patent and literature searches within all sciences, ranging from the medical device/pharmaceutical fields over chemistry and life sciences to inventions of a mechanical nature. In connection with our searches, we also perform analyses regarding the status of patents and patent relations.

BUDDE SCHOU Group 

NORDIC PATENT ANALYZER is a company within the BUDDE SCHOU Group. Based on a close cooperation within the group - and in particular with Budde Schou A/S which is a full-service international firm of IP Attorneys situated in Copenhagen - we strive to allow our clients to benefit always from the expertise and patent information resources that our companies hold between us.

In connection with the establishment of this cooperation in 2008, we changed our name from Medical Patent AB to Nordic Patent Analyzer AB. The name change reflects the development of our company to encompass the entire Nordic region and the fact that, although our main focus was previously on medical sciences, we have over the last couple of years experienced a growing demand for similar searches within other technical fields which has contributed to the natural development of our business.

We know our way about the patent information landscape and are tuned to providing custom-tailored IP reviews to fit the specific needs of our highly diversified group of often market leading clients.

Our experience and in-depth knowledge of all the facets of IP information have enabled us to develop our own tool for IP analysis - Patent Analyzer®. We are familiar with the needs and requirements of our clients and see it as our duty to keep up with changing and growing demands in a world ruled by competition. Therefore, we are pleased to see an ever-growing demand for advanced patent analyses for which our Patent Analyzer® tool may be used. 
 

Our customers 

We provide services to small as well as large companies, patent agencies and risk management companies. We have a number of international customers including customers from the Scandinavian countries, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the US. For reasons of confidentiality, however, our customers cannot be listed here.

Our office is located in Alnarp (lying between Lund and Malmö), which is a small village in the expansive Öresund science region in Sweden.
